Your Designs, Our Craftsmanship

While Sonesh Jaipur is famous for its ready-to-sell wholesale catalogs, our core infrastructure in Sanganer is built to handle heavy-duty Custom Job Work for B2B clients.

Bagru printing is a highly specialized, 400-year-old art form that utilizes natural dyes like Indigo (blue) and Madder (red) stamped onto dark, earthy backgrounds using wooden blocks. It requires specific water chemistry, extensive sun-drying, and master artisans to execute flawlessly.

We Print For:

  • Independent Fashion Designers creating exclusive summer collections.
  • Boutique Brands that want to sell their own unique block prints rather than open-market designs.
  • Large-scale Wholesalers who need bulk manufacturing of uniform patterns on premium fabrics.

You provide the vision—or the raw fabric—and our factory executes the complex printing, washing, and finishing processes.

How Our Job Work Process Operates

We maintain a highly professional, transparent workflow for our B2B clients to ensure their proprietary designs are protected and executed perfectly.

1

Consultation & Sampling

We begin by understanding your fabric choice, design complexity, and volume. If necessary, we carve custom wooden blocks of your design and run a small fabric sample to confirm dye penetration and color accuracy before bulk production.

2

Fabric Pre-Treatment (Hari)

Authentic Bagru printing requires the fabric to be steeped in a mixture of water and harda (myrobalan) powder. This gives the cloth a yellowish tint and acts as the crucial mordant that binds the natural dyes to the fabric.

3

Printing & Sun Drying

Our master artisans hand-stamp your designs onto the fabric tables. Depending on the design, this may involve direct printing or Dabu (mud-resist) printing prior to dipping the fabric in Indigo vats. The fabric is then extensively sun-dried in our yards.

4

Washing, Fixing & Dispatch

The fabric is vigorously washed in large water tanks to remove excess mud and unfixed dyes, boiled in copper vessels to permanently fix the colors, dried one final time, and then folded and dispatched to your brand's warehouse.

Job Work FAQ

Answers to common questions from brands and designers looking to hire our printing services.

Yes. Sonesh Jaipur operates with absolute professional integrity. If you pay for custom block development based on your proprietary designs, those blocks are reserved strictly for your production runs and are never sold in our open wholesale catalogs.
Absolutely. Many of our high-end designer clients prefer to source their own specific grey cloth (fabric in its raw state) and send it to our Sanganer facility purely for the Bagru printing and washing execution.
Unlike modern screen printing, authentic Bagru is a slow, multi-stage, natural process. It relies heavily on intense sunlight to dry the mud-resists and fix the natural dyes. Therefore, production times are longer and highly weather-dependent (especially during the monsoon).
For custom job work, our primary service is the manufacturing and printing of the unstitched fabric (sarees, dupattas, or running yardage/than). We do not operate a massive tailoring unit for stitching final ready-made garments like kurtis.
